Curriculum Vitae
Selected Honors
I received the NDSEG Fellowship beginning the fall of 2019, as well as recognition in the form of Honorable Mention for the NSF GRFP award. I have received several conference awards, including Finalist for Best Student Paper at IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology 2022 and Society for Pelvic Research 2018 Best Presentation. Further details about my experience can be found at the CV link below.
Science
I study neuroscience and rehabilitation of the lower urinary tract. In my thesis, I aim to use epidural spinal cord stimulation to recruit bladder nerves and control both continence and voiding, build a computational model of the sacral spinal cord to understand the neural recruitment achieved with this stimulation, and produce effective bladder control in awake behaving animals. More information about these and other projects I have been involved in is located here, or a three minute overview is here.
